No injuries were reported when a driver lost control on an icy stretch of road Sunday and struck a utility pole. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident scene on Granite Avenue at approximately 9:37 a.m. They found that 31-year-old Ricky Wayne Bolin of Templeton was driving a 2015 Nissan Altima with three passengers northbound when the accident occurred. There was an estimated $3,500 in damage to the Bolin vehicle.
