Mass of the Christian Burial for 68-year-old Eugene Vonnahme of Carroll will be Thursday at 10 am at the St. John Paul II Parish-St. Lawrence Church in Carroll with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by the Breda American Legion. Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll after 4 pm Wednesday where there will be a Rosary at 5 and a Christian Wake Service at 6:30 Wednesday evening. Visitation will resume at the church after 9 Thursday morning until time of Mass. Gene Vonnahme is survived by his wife: Charlene of Carroll…..a son: Dr. Greg Vonnahme of Kansas…..and a daughter: Dr. Julie Vogel-Lemke of Des Moines…….4 grandchildren…..his mother: Delores Vonnahme of Carroll…..and 2 brothers: Gary of Carroll and Ron of Dubuque.
