The Lake View Police Department reports they have arrested a Wall Lake man in connection to a series of burglaries reported in the region. On Tuesday, Jan. 15, law enforcement executed search warrants at two residences in the 100 block of Sherwood Street in Wall Lake and located numerous items reported stolen on Jan. 10, as well as items stolen in other incidents. Following their investigation, the Lake View Police Department arrested and charged 19-year-old Jacob Alan Lindner with third-degree burglary and two counts of second-degree theft, all class D felonies. He remains in custody at the Sac County jail on a $15,000 cash-only bond. His preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 29. If found guilty, Lindner faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison and $22,500 in fines.
