A 13-year-old male will likely be facing a controlled substance charge after a small amount of marijuana was found in his middle school locker. The Jefferson Police Department was called to the Greene County Middle School at approximately 9:04 a.m. on Monday. The officers made contact with the male and received consent from his parents to perform a search of the juvenile and his locker. They report a charge of first-offense possession of a controlled substance, a serious misdemeanor could be levied against the juvenile.
