A Sac County deputy recovered a vehicle reported stolen last October during a traffic stop on Friday evening. At approximately 6 p.m., the deputy spotted a car with no license plates in the 3700 mile of Otter Avenue, north of Lake View. The driver, 26-year-old William Dean Hutchinson of Wall Lake, pulled over, and when the deputy reviewed a records check, the 2015 Buick Enclave came up as stolen out of Sioux City. A vehicle search uncovered a bill of sale, which is alleged to have been forged to show Hutchinson as the purchaser. Hutchinson was taken into custody and charged with forgery and theft in the second degree, both class D felonies, and driving on a suspended license, a simple misdemeanor. He is being held in the Sac County jail on a $5,300 cash bond.
