One person suffered minor injuries and the other was uninjured in a two-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. Highway 30 and Quint Avenue. At approximately 2:07 p.m., 28-year-old Andrew Geary of Carroll was driving a 2009 Toyota Corolla southbound on Quint Avenue. He proceeded into the intersection on a green light, when the driver’s side of his vehicle was struck by a westbound 2005 Nissan Titan, driven by 29-year-old Christopher Gonnerman of Wall Lake. Geary complained of possible minor injuries and Gonnerman was uninjured. There was disabling damage done to the Geary vehicle. Gonnerman was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
