Region XII Council of Governments is hosting an educational workshop on employment-related issues next month. On Dec. 12, Maggie Hanson with Davis Brown Law, will share with attendees the stumbling blocks she and other attorneys are seeing for employers in hiring/firing and other employee-related areas. Hanson has first-hand experience with employers who have discovered embellished facts on resumes and who find themselves having to deal with hiring managers who are not asking the right questions of candidates. She will also delve into sexual harassment and the #metoo era and drug testing. The workshop will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Region XII training room, located at 1009 East Anthony Street in Carroll.
