A Rockwell City Man Held On $15,000 Bond For Felony Burglary Charge Released On Own Recognizance Thursday

A Rockwell City man, who was being held at the Carroll County jail on a felony burglary charge, was released Thursday after a preliminary hearing at the Carroll County Courthouse. Thirty-year-old Bradley James Barringer was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 8 for allegedly entering an occupied structure on Nov. 6 in the 100 block for West Central Street in Lidderdale. He is accused of stealing multiple items from the home and was later found in possession of at least one of the reportedly missing items. Barringer was originally held on a $15,000 bond for second-degree burglary, a class C felony, but was released on a promise to appear at future court dates. If found guilty of the crime, he could face up to 10 years in prison and a maximum fine of $10,000.
