Charges are pending the result of lab tests after a Wild Rose patron confesses to possessing methamphetamine. An officer with the Jefferson Police Department was on patrol when he spotted a man who appeared to be sleeping in a vehicle in the Wild Rose parking lot. During a welfare check, the officer patted the subject for weapons and questioned him about having anything illegal on his person. The man advised the officer he was holding methamphetamine and a syringe in his pocket. The officer seize the items for testing.
