The jury trial for a Carroll man, who allegedly tried to force people out of a basement with a bug fogger, has been rescheduled for early November. Fifty-one-year-old Jeff Richard Huegerich faces one count of misdemeanor assault. The charge stems from an incident on June 16. According to court records, two men reported Huegerich had trapped them in the bottom floor of a residence in the 600 block of East Second Street and feared he would ignite the gas from the fogger. The trial was originally slated for Aug. 30 but will now begin on Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Carroll County Courthouse.
