Glidden residents may experience discolored water or low pressure this week while the city performs scheduled maintenance. The City of Glidden will be inspecting the clear well and flushing fire hydrants throughout town from Monday, Sept. 17 through Thursday, Sept. 20. Officials assure the public the water is safe to drink, but they recommend waiting for the color to return to normal before doing laundry or using the water to clean.
