For some people, it takes a run in with the law to change their ways, and that is literally what happened to one distracted driver Friday in Crawford County. An Iowa State Patrol Trooper from District four in Denison shared the damage done to his cruiser by a distracted driver on social media saying, “When your head is buried in your phone, bad things can happen………like running into the back of an Iowa State Patrol car.” A not so subtle reminder that these types of accidents are happening much too often, but are also completely avoidable.
