As we draw ever closer to the Nov. 6 mid-term general elections, we are seeing candidates on the local, state and federal level ramping up their campaign appearances. Just last week, House District 12 Democratic candidate, Peter Leo of Manning, joined 2020 Presidential candidate, John Delaney, at a meet-and-greet in Carroll. This week, Oregon Senator, Jeff Merkley, will be supporting Leo in door-to-door campaigning in Carroll. They will begin by greeting the general public and volunteers at 2:30 p.m. Sunday Aug. 19 at the Northwest Park Shelter House. After this discussion, both Leo and Senator Merkley will be available to answer questions.
