The Carroll Chamber of Commerce is reporting that the annual Agribusiness Barbecue and Golf Outing, held last Friday, Aug. 10, was a resounding success for attendees and the Carroll area as whole. The tournament, which is designed to recognize farmers and agribusinesses for their contributions to Carroll County, saw 38 four-person teams compete in the best shot, 18-hole scramble. The event also raised funds for the Carroll Chamber of Commerce and Carroll County Cattlemen’s Association local scholarships. These are offered every year to students interested in pursuing an agriculturally-based education.
