Mass of the Christian Burial for 62-year-old Dean Albrecht of Carroll will be Friday at 10:30 am at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Carroll with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the church after 4 pm Thursday where there will be a Christian Wake Service at 7 Thursday evening. Visitation will resume at the church after 9:30 Friday morning until time of Mass. The arrangements are under the direction of the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Dean Albrecht is survived by his wife: Sara of Carroll…..his children: Abbie Albrecht and Lexi Albrecht, both of West Des Moines…..a grandson….and his siblings: Cindy Brunson of West Des Moines, Dick of Wall Lake and Steve of Norwalk. The family suggests memorials be made in Dean’s name to the C.S.B. Charitable Foundation – F.B.O. Dean Albrecht Mayo Clinic Charitable Fund, C/O City State Bank, Box 159, 801 Main, Norwalk, IA 50211, to be used for cancer research.
