The City of Sac City will be flushing water mains next week in order to clear their water delivery systems. Work will begin Monday, May 7 in the northwest portion of town. Crews will open certain hydrants to dislodge any rust that may have accumulated within the water mains and will proceed southeast until the flushing is complete. This process may result in water to look discolored or cloudy for a brief period, and residents may also experience a temporary loss in water pressure.
