Carroll High Students Using Art To Support Kellan’s Kingdom As Service Day Project

As a part of the 2018 Service Day, students from Carroll High School designed and created pallet signs to be sold for the benefit of a local cause. These pieces of art are now for sale at United Bank of Iowa, with all proceeds going to Kellan’s Kingdom, the Carroll area’s first all-inclusive playground for individuals of all physical, emotional and mental abilities. Each sign is being sold for a free-will donation, and they will be available for the next two weeks or until they are sold out, whichever comes first. Northeast Park has been selected as the home for Kellan’s Kingdom, and a master plan for that site is currently being created. Construction on the park is expected to start yet this August. Organizers are now working on including a Miracle Field at that site. This accessible ball field will give everyone the chance to take part in America’s pastime.
