No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday morning in Carroll. The Carroll Police Department responded to the scene of the accident near the intersection of Adams and 12th Streets at approximately 8:26 a.m. According to authorities, 74-year-old Sharlene Christena Albertsen, of Carroll, was traveling westbound in a 2005 Buick LeSabre when a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser, driven by 73-year-old Shirley Ann Kendle, of Carroll, failed to yield after stopping at a stop sign on Adams. The Kendle vehicle collided with the front driver-side portion of the Albertsen vehicle. Damage was estimated at $1,000 for the Albertsen Buick and $1,500 to the Kendle Chrysler. Kendle was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
