Sac City Man Charged With Felony Stalking

Charges have been filed against a Sac City man for allegedly violating a no contact order by taking pictures of a woman. According to the Sac City Police Department, they received a complaint from the victim on July 26, 2017 that claimed 57-year-old Todd Andrew Bachman had driven past her while holding up his cell phone. Authorities executed a search warrant at Bachman’s home the following day and seized several electronic devices. After police reviewed the devices, Bachman was charged with violation of a protective order by stalking, a class D felony, and first-degree harassment, an aggravated misdemeanor. Bachman is scheduled for an initial appearance in Sac County District Court tomorrow (Tuesday). If found guilty of the charges, he faces up to seven years in prison and nearly $14,000 in fines.
