The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office will be adding some new equipment to various roadways throughout the county this spring. Sheriff, Ken Pingrey, says they started out putting up just two radar speed signs over the past year, but they will be adding nearly half a dozen more in the coming months.

Although the solar-powered signs do not contain any cameras, Pingrey says they are a subtle reminder to watch your speed and they really do work. They have already identified where they will be installing these five signs.
