ACMH Earns High Praise As One Of The Best Critical Access Hospitals In The Nation

Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics (ACMH) has been named as one of the best critical access hospitals in the country. ACMH earned the designation based on the iVantage Health Analytics’ Hospital Strength INDEX. The INDEX evaluates the quality of hospitals through eight metrics: inpatient share ranking, outpatient share ranking, cost, charge, quality, outcomes, patient perspective and financial stability. “This achievement is due to the hard work of the staff, board, and medical staff of ACMH and validates our daily commitment to providing the best healthcare possible to our community, while maintaining an efficient and effective facility,” says CEO, Suzanne Cooner. This is the seventh time they have been recognized as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital. ACMH was joined by Loring Hospital in Sac City as one of only 13 hospitals in Iowa to earn this recognition.
