The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office reports two individuals were arrested in separate incidents over the weekend. At approximately 6:23 p.m. on Saturday, 32-year-old Sarah Chitty, of Harlan, was arrested for second-offense possession of marijuana and several traffic violations after K9 Axel alerted to the presence of narcotics. She was arrested and transported to the Audubon County jail where she was released on her own recognizance following an appearance before the magistrate. That same day, 37-year-old Ian Leib, of Council Bluffs, was arrested after K9 Axel alerted during a different traffic stop. Leib was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, a class C felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. He was booked in to the Audubon County jail where he remains in custody on a $10,000 bond.
