The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education’s March meeting is scheduled for next week. During the meeting, two CHS All-State individual speech qualifiers, Miles Millard and Demedrious Lyons, will perform the pieces that earned them top honors at the state contest earlier this month. A public hearing is scheduled during the meeting on an amendment to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 budget, and the board will also begin preparations for the FY 2019 budget that begins July 1. They are also expected to approve the contract for the new CCSD Superintendent, Dr. Kevin Lein. The Monday, March 19 meeting will be called to order at 5:30 p.m. in the Adams Elementary School boardroom. Members of the public are encouraged to attend.
