Mass of the Christian Burial for 89 year old Norman Thelen of Carroll will be Friday at 10:30am at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Carroll. Burial will be Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the St. Ann’s Cemetery in Vail. Friends may call at Holy Spirit after 4pm on Thursday where there will be a Rosary at 5 and a Christian Wake Service at 6:30 Thursday evening. Visitation will resume after 9:30 Friday morning at the church until time of Mass. The arrangements are under the direction of the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Norman Thelen is survived by his children: Joseph & James, both of Denison, Jeffrey of Carroll, Thomas of Missouri, and Julie Gerdes of Lake View……14 grandchildren…….8 great grandchildren…..and his siblings: Sylvester of Templeton, Ralph of Florida, Lawrence of Vail, Mary Ludwig of Carroll, and Lynette Schaffer of Nebraska.
