Central City Man Arrested For Theft From Local Tattoo Parlor

A northeast Iowa man has been taken into custody on a Carroll County arrest warrant for allegedly stealing nearly $700 in items from a local business. On Tuesday, Jan. 16, 21-year-old Casey Martin Joseph Lovell, of Central City, was caught on video surveillance at Until the End Tattoo in Carroll removing $20 out of a tip jar, taking a cell phone valued at $600 and stealing a $55 flag from a restroom. A warrant for third-degree theft, an aggravated misdemeanor was ordered for Lovell, and he was arrested by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday, Jan. 21. If found guilty of the charge, Lovell faces up to two years in prison and a maximum fine of $5,000.
