Carroll Brewing Company received a large shipment of equipment Friday morning and is now one step closer to beginning brewing operations at their Carroll facility. More than half of the necessary pieces have now been delivered with additional shipments anticipated the first week of 2018. General Manager, Jon Crook, says the equipment needed to brew beer is quite large and requires multiple loads to deliver.
Crook says it will take quite some time to get all the equipment situated, connected and sanitized. He says March is the tentative date when brewing will begin.
He predicts the taproom portion of Carroll Brewing Company will be open much sooner. Late January is the projected open date for the retail side of the business. Crook says they will be serving the same types of beer they are going to be making in Carroll, just brewed at a different facility.
Crook adds they are really excited for the opportunity to open their doors to the public and give people a chance to see how beer is made. When completed, the brewing, canning and packaging will all take place at the Carroll facility. A single batch of beer produced there is the equivalent of 28,000 cans.
