A criminal complaint filed against a former Sac City council member alleges sexual abuse of a six-year-old child. The Sac City Police Department took 75-year-old Gary Lee Hansen into custody on Friday, Dec. 15 on a charge of second-degree sexual abuse. It has been reported that Hansen admitted to the sexual contact in a court appearance on Tuesday, Dec. 19. Hansen’s last year of service with the council was in 2015.
