The woman who took alcohol from the Jefferson Fareway shelves into the store’s bathroom, consumed the contents and then tried to flush the bottles is now facing additional charges. The Jefferson Police Department has requested an arrest warrant for 46-year-old Angela Dawn Beem of Jefferson for third-degree criminal mischief, an aggravated misdemeanor. The charges stem from the incidents occurring on Sept. 11 and Sept. 12. When Beem flushed the bottles, they became lodged and the stools had to be removed to clear the sewer lines, resulting in an added expense for the business. Beem has also been charged with theft in the fifth degree, a simple misdemeanor.
