A Carroll man’s Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) was well over two times the legal limit when he was taken into custody after an accident that ended when his vehicle ran into a residence. At approximately 4:29 a.m., the Carroll Police Department arrested 22-year-old Edwardo Perez Ortiz near Capistrano Ave. and High Ridge Road for operating while intoxicated and failure to maintain control. Ortiz struck a tree, a light pole and then the residence at 824 Capistrano Ave. His BAC was .214 at the time of his arrest.
