Stolen Good Recovered And Two Arrested In Greene County Traffic Stop

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Jefferson men after a traffic stop on I Ave. near 290th Street, southeast of Scranton. During the stop, the deputy recovered stolen items. The driver, 36-year-old Derek Ott was arrested for driving while barred and third-degree burglary, a class D felony. The passenger in the car was a suspect in the thefts, 33-year-old Jake John Ball. Ball was taken into custody and charged with two counts of burglary in the third degree, a class D felony, violation of a no contact order, a simple misdemeanor, and ongoing criminal conduct, a class B felony. The items were reported stolen from burglaries on West Madison Street and South Wilson Ave. in Jefferson.
