No Injuries And Only Minor Damage Reported In Two-Vehicle Accident Wednesday In Carroll

The Carroll Police Department responded to a non-injury, two-vehicle accident at the corner of 7th and Main Streets at approximately 1:15 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. A 2015 Subaru Forrester, driven by 82-year-old Leon Alva Tigges of Carroll, was eastbound on 7th Street and had stopped for the posted stop sign, but then proceeded into the intersection. A 2011 Lincoln MKS, driven 69-year-old Roberta Gayle Roe of Carroll, was northbound on Main Street. Roe did not have a stop sign and entered the intersection at the same time as Tigges. The Tigges Subaru struck the left front corner of Roe’s Lincoln, causing an estimated $1,500 to each vehicle. Tigges was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.
