Jefferson Police are investigating damages caused by an unknown male who drove through wet concrete. At approximately 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday, the department received a report from representatives of the Gaberson-Smith Construction Company of Ida Grove, who is repairing damaged roads near Deer Run and Matrosie Lane. They say that a dark colored Jeep Liberty drove through concrete that was not yet set, and this will have to be torn out and re-poured. Damages are estimated at $9,500. They described the driver as a dark-haired male in his 40s. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Jefferson Police Department at 515-386-2136.
