The Carroll Serra Club is supporting the new Campus Minster position at Kuemper that has been filled by Katherine Dea of Templeton. Late last week, Jane Morlok, Serra Club President, presented a check on behalf of the organization. The club decided to use the funds to support this new position that facilitates activities infusing faith into the students’ everyday lives through a bequest made by the late Eva Wiedemeyer. Ways that Dea will work with students includes Bible studies, retreats, service projects and prayer services. Dea comes to Kuemper as a recent graduate of Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan.
