Glidden Pursues Iowa’s Living Roadways Grant And Seeks Volunteers To Serve On Committee

City leaders in Glidden have announced their intention to pursue a grant opportunity from the Iowa Department of Transportation to beautify and improve the community’s landscapes. City Clerk, Suzy Danner, says the grant, called “Iowa’s Living Roadways”, aims to create visually-appealing entrances to town.

The committee will steer the direction the city goes with the funding if they are awarded the up to $10,000 grant. City Hall is currently accepting volunteers who wish to join the Iowa Living Roadways Community Visioning Program Committee.
