The Sac City Police Department has filed multiple charges against a Sac City man after an incident in early August. At approximately 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5, authorities responded to an apartment complex at 202 South 13th St. on reports of an altercation. While at the scene, an officer witnessed 24-year-old Austin Page assault another resident. Page was arrested and transported to the Sac County Jail. He has been charged with assault, public intoxication and interference with official acts, all simple misdemeanors. A non-jury trial for Page is scheduled in Sac County District Court on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
