A 10-year veteran of the Sac County Sheriff’s Office and his partner, K-9 Toby, were thanked for their service as they left the department last week. On Tuesday, Deputy Matt Biede and Toby said goodbye to their colleagues as Biede left to take a position in the private sector and K-9 Toby entered into a well-deserved retirement. Toby will be making his permanent home with the Biede family.
