A portion of Bettin Ave. in Sac County will be closed for more than a month while crews work on a bridge replacement. Crews began the project Tuesday morning. Work is expected to last four to six weeks on the half-mile stretch of road between 160th and 170th St. about four miles northwest of Schaller and will prevent thru-traffic for the duration. Travelers and emergency responders are asked to plan alternate routes during the construction.
