Oktoberfest Trip A Go. More Travelers Invited To Register

Manning Hausbarn Heritage Park announces there have been enough registrations to make the Sept. 15 Oktoberfest bus trip to Omaha, Neb. a definite go. Now, the goal is to help lower the per-person cost by adding additional travelers. The current cost has now gone down $20 to $60 per person, but with just five more registrations, the cost would be reduced to $50 per person. There are, however, only 15 seats left until the bus is full. That fee includes transportation by a Windstar motor coach, driver tip, a two-hour guided tour of Omaha, a tip for the guide and admittance to the German-American Society. Food and drinks are not included. Expect a lot of German-themed fun with music, dancing, German food and a full bar specializing in German wines, biers and spirits. To be considered fully registered, a $25 deposit must be made. Final payment will be due the day of the trip. On Sept. 15, passengers can either meet at the Windstar bus garage in Carroll between 11 and 11:15 a.m. or at the Manning Hausbarn Heritage Park between 11:45 a.m. and noon. Instructions on how to register can be found below.
