Only about a week after Bomgaars Vice President, Aaron Bomgaars, confirmed that the Carroll store would be moving into the recently vacated Kmart space in City Centre Plaza, Carroll Area Development Corporation (CADC) members were given a tour and a sneak peek at the future of the space. Manager of the Carroll store, Mark Nepple, led that excursion, which was impressive to all who attended, including CADC Executive Director, Shannon Landauer.
Carroll City Manager, Mike Pogge-Weaver, was only able to join in for a portion of the tour, but says this is a boon for Bomgaars, for Carroll residents and for other Carroll businesses.
Bomgaars has not disclosed the price they paid for the Kmart building, but have said that they will be hoping to get things moved very quickly, possibly before the holiday season.
