Classes are about to begin for students at the East Sac Community School District and a number of important dates are coming up in the next few weeks. Walk-in registration for all students will be held on Thursday, Aug. 10 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the high school library in Lake View. Registration can also be mailed in or completed online by using the district’s JMC Online system. A link to the online registration and the school’s mailing address can be found included below this story. An open house for elementary students and families will be Tuesday, Aug. 22 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the elementary school in Sac City. The middle school open house is also Aug. 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Sac City. Orientation for high school students will be held at 9 a.m. in the high school small gym for all classes on various dates. Seniors on Monday, Aug. 14, juniors on Tuesday, Aug. 15, sophomores on Wednesday, Aug. 16 and freshman on Thursday, Aug. 17. Classes start for the East Sac County Raiders on Aug. 24 at 8:15 a.m.
