Two free, online webinars on sales and use tax are available for Iowa businesses in June and July. The first part, Iowa Sales/Use Tax Basics, will be held Wednesday, June 21, while part two will be held on July 19. Both sessions are scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. The first session will provide an overview and include common taxable services. Part two will again provide an overview and then cover local option sales tax. The Iowa Department of Revenue has partnered with the Center for Business Growth and Innovation at the University of Northern Iowa to provide these free tax webinars to small business owners on IASourceLink.
