Two out-of-state men were arrested last Friday near Exira after narcotics were discovered in their vehicle. At approximately 3:30 a.m., a deputy with the Audubon County Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop on a car with the men inside, 24-year-old Christopher Deon Prince and 21-year-old James Marquise Johnson, both of Dolton, Illinois. During the stop, Audubon’s K-9 Unit, Axel, indicated narcotics in the vehicle. Both Prince and Johnson, were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. They are each being held on a $1,000 bond in the Audubon County Jail.
