Scammers are becoming increasingly more resourceful in their methods to take people’s hard-earned money, and one consumer protection group is working to inform the public on their methods to reduce losses to scams. On Thursday, June 8, The Audubon Public Library is hosting the AARP Fraud Watch Network so potential scam victims can learn how to get alerts on the newest scams and stay up-to-date on con artists’ latest techniques. The program begins at 1 p.m. and is free for of all ages. No registration is required.
