Mass of the Christian Burial for 82 year old Delores Staley of Carroll will be Friday at 1:30pm at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Carroll with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Legion of Mary will form an honor guard for the funeral mass. Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 4pm Thursday where there will be a Rosary by the Legion of Mary at 5 and a Christian Wake Service at 6:30 Thursday evening. Visitation will resume at the church after 12:30 Friday afternoon until time of Mass. Delores Staley is survived by her husband: Jack of Carroll….her children: Jayne Smith of Ankeny, Dave of Nebraska, Connie McDonough of Nebraska, John of Sergeant Bluffs, and Ann Gohr of Nebraska…..16 grandchildren…..9 great grandchildren….and her siblings: Charles Schaben of Harlan, Betty Grote of Earling, Janice Schmitz & Gladys Rau, both of Harlan, Duane Schaben of Council Bluffs, and Ron Schaben of Defiance.
