On Friday, May 5, Gov. Branstad, Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds and the State of Iowa will honor four Iowa peace officers who were killed in the line of duty in a special ceremony at the Peace Officer Memorial in Des Moines at 10 a.m. Urbandale Police Officer Justin Martin, Des Moines Police Sergeant Anthony Beminio, West Des Moines Police Sergeant Shawn Miller and Special Agent Thomas Griffin will have their names added to the Memorial.
