On Wednesday, March 29, Carroll Police Officers conducted controlled tobacco buys at various locations around the city. Employees at two businesses sold tobacco to minors who were working with the department. Nineteen-year-old Nicholas Tyler McDaniel of Carroll at Hy-Vee and 45-year-old Tina Marie Wayland of Carroll at Reiling’s 71 South were both cited for selling tobacco to a minor, a simple misdemeanor.
