The Carroll Chamber of Commerce added a new activity last year that put a focus on fitness, in a fun way. Executive Director, Shannon Landauer, said they are excited to be holding another Color Run this year.
Landauer said it will be on Mother’s Day weekend again, on Saturday morning, May 13.
The name says run, but walkers are welcome to join the group on the trail around Swan Lake State Park south of Carroll to travel through the six “color zones” and wear their accomplishments with pride across the finish line. Registration can be done on the Carroll Chamber of Commerce website by following the link included with this story on our website or at 8:30 a.m. the day of the race. Cost to register between now and May 5 is $25 for adults and $15 for children 10 and under. The cost rises to $30 for adults and $20 for children 10 and under after May 5. The Color Run will get underway at 9 a.m. from the Eastside shelter house.
