The Carroll Merchants Baseball team is planning to have even more home games this year, but Carroll Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Shannon Landauer, says they are still searching for places the players can call home for the season.
The Carroll area came out in full force last year to support the team, and the large crowds made a big impression on home and visiting players alike. Landauer said they are hoping to see that same type of turnout this year at all of the home games and that there are opportunities still available for sponsorships.
Chris Whitaker has taken the lead on organization for this season’s Merchants Baseball, and anyone interested in sponsorships or company outings can contact Whitaker at Region XII Council of Governments or contact the Carroll Chamber for more information. Those interested in volunteering or hosting a player can also contact the chamber. Those numbers are included below.
