The Glidden City Council has finalized their fiscal year 2018 budget and are ready to open a hearing for the public. Projected revenues for the city in the coming year are estimated at just under $2.9 million. Expenses are expected to be slightly less at around $2.7 million. Based on their expectations, Glidden should see a surplus of $139,122. The city council is holding a budget meeting to give citizens a chance to examine the budget and have their questions answered. The City of Glidden’s Public Budget Hearing is scheduled for Monday, March 13 at 5:30 p.m. in city hall.
