Monday, Jan. 23, marked the beginning of National School Choice Week which raised awareness about school choice. Parents in Iowa can choose between traditional public schools, public charter schools, magnet schools, online academies, private schools or home-school for their children’s education. When it comes to choosing between public schools, Carroll Community School District Superintendent, Rob Cordes, says choosing another district affects budgets.
